Police received a call at 6 p.m. related to a welfare check. Deputies were shot at multiple times. Communication from the man in a camper indicated he wanted to shoot police. The standoff ended shortly before 2:30 a.m. following the death of the suspect. Media was coy and failed to report specifically whether the person was shot and killed by police. May be suicide.
