While two other major battles and one skirmish occurred during the Great Realm War, the battle of Tristinople was the initial and decisive engagement. Beginning with a Dantonese invasion through North Centre, and the Tower Plateau Skirmish, pursued by the Kaiser himself, the Dantonese force would fall to the ground over the Hensley Depot. The engagement would begin with a Trislandic and Tamsah loss, as the first wave of attacks against Dantonese positioned would be unaware of the deadly effectiveness of crossbows at close range, leading to overwhelming Tamsah and Trislandic casualties. After this initial loss, only one Tamsah division, kept in a support role, would remain, in a standoff with the Dantonese while the allied armies regrouped. After two separate failed landings across the Maine into occupied Northeast Tristinople, the Kaiser himself, who had been brought to safety after the initial fighting, would engage the D.E.F.M. commander himself, with nothing but a bow and arrow. As the commander moved into the incomplete Tristinople Cathedral, the Kaiser would begin engaging him from the storage buildings just as the last Tamsah division, and thus the last allied division, was defeated. As the commander pulled out a sword to kill his new attacker, the Kaiser would shoot 4 arrows into him, killing him, avenging his fathers death and winning the battle.
