Feb. 22 – John W. Greyeyes writes to Wm. Walker, Jr., from Indian Territory that there is maneuvering to get approval of the railroad right of way through the Wyandot Reserve. Greyeyes believes Guthrie is part of a ring of Indian agents and railroad men enriching themselves at the Indian’s expense. (WNO)
