Tauromee, Principal Chief, dies on Jan. 15 and is buried in Huron Indian Cemetery (his gravesite is now lost). Many Wyandots refuse to recognize the authority of the Kayrahoo Council at Quindaro. Adding to the confusion, of 146 Wyandots now on the Seneca Reserve in Indian Territory, 103 are Citizens. (WNO)
