Joseph John Thomson or J.J Thomson discovered the electron by experimenting with a cathode ray. He showed that all atoms contained negatively-charged particle or electrons. He proposed the plum pudding model of the atom, which represents the glaze.
With his discovery of the electron, we used to that make electricity and energy, that have now changed our entire world. More scienectist later into the future used his experiments to create the best atom models and without electrons we wouldn't have all this knwonledge and tools.
