1 Jan 1896 Jahr - Radiation discovery
Beschreibung:
Henry Becquerel was using naturally fluorescents to study the properties of x-rays. He exposed a fluorescent to sunlight and it on a photographic disk and he believed that it would emit x-rays. Though his experiment failed as it was cloudy the images were still clear as day and he proved that uranium emitted radiation without an external source of energy, like the sun. His discovery started world wide experiments and research to further understand what radiation is and how it could be of use in the future.
