The kingdoms of the modern world are clearly defined: The Hyborian Race divides it's lands in the west into Aquilonia, Nemedia, Brythunia, Koth, Ophir, Argos, Corinthia. A series of city states known as the Border Kingdom exists in termoil wedged between the Hyborians and the lands of Hyperborea and the barbarian state of Cimmeria. The Shem have forced the Stygian borders back, but now suffer under Koth.
