29 Sept 1938 Jahr - THE MUNICH CONFERENCE Hitler continued his campaign to seize more European territories and was fixated on annexing Sudetenland, which had a substantial German population. In order to avoid a repeat of WWI, the other European leaders yielded to Hitler’s demands and he was allowed to take all predominantly German territory in Czechoslovakia.
