This was a peaceful protest from Selma to Montgomery and a.k.a "Bloody Sunday". This is because many people were beaten, shot, and killed through this march.

This march from Selma was significant because this helped the fight for civil rights to gain support. Because, when the Whites saw the Blacks get beaten and killed for no specific reason, they felt bad and leaned towards the Black's side.
