The Raxacoricofallapatorian Family, the Slitheen, infiltrate the United Kingdom and the British Government, planning to burn Earth and sell the debris. Rose Tyler, due to a glitch in the TARDIS, was missing and presumed dead for a year. The Slitheen are burned to death except for one who teleports away.
