8 Feb 2009 Jahr - Kinglake

Beschreibung:

Following the merge of the Kilmore East and Murrindindi fires on 8 February the kinglake fire was lit. This fire swept through state forests and national parks with flames more than 30 metres high. The extreme temperatures and wind created clouds above the flames that stimulated the fire more and moved embers far beyond the fire front.
