The Confederación Española de Derechas Autónomas was the Catholic conservative sector of the Right wing parties. This political party was led by José María Gil-Robles. the CEDA believed that it was a defensive organization as it sought to defend family, religion, and property. This party ceased operations on April 19, 1937.
