The Asturian Miners strike was strike that occurred in 1934 after the reforms and agenda of the right weren't working out for the working class so they revolted and Franco brutally suppressed their strike by bombing them and using as much force as possible. This lead to Franco being seen as a political force that they meed to watch out for.
