After CEDA took majority in the last elections, the leader Jose Gil-Robles declared that CEDA would give the county a new spirit, unity, a true totalitarian society. HE also make threats to parliament and democracy saying that if they don't agree or comply with this new look on the country they will have to eliminate them. CEDA had similar views to the Nazis.
