2 März 2018 Jahr - Browns Rd Transitional Housing - starts
Beschreibung:
The carpet's been laid and the furniture is expected to arrive any day at a new multi-million dollar transitional housing facility in south Auckland.
Construction on the complex in Browns Rd, Manurewa, was started in early 2017 by the previous Government, which allocated $10 million to the project.
The now completed facility is the result of a partnership between the Ministry of Social Development and Housing NZ. It will be managed by the Salvation Army.
The complex's six, two-storey blocks each comprise nine studio units.
Transitional housing offers people who have nowhere to live a place to stay until they can move into appropriate long-term accommodation.
