Mars 2020 will be launched in July 2020 with the intention of finding areas on mars that may have once had life. Mars 2020 will collect samples of the soil and store them for them to be taken back to earth in future missions. The rover will be equipped with 7 instruments. The rover will land using the same mechanism as Curiosity but with fewer risks, since it will be equipped better with 2 attachments making the landings safer. The rover will also have high-resolution imaging as well as equipment to identify rocks and their characteristics. This rover has the ability to collects samples as well as to handle landings in less favourable areas and equipment that allows it to identify rocks and provide high-quality imaging
