The League of Nations was an international organization with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. It was created after the WW1 to provide a forum to help resolve international disputes between countries. The leagues goals were to prevent war and settle distributes between counties, and it was successful for a while, but they lacked armed forces of its own and started depending on the Great Powers to enforce its resolutions. They proved that they were incapable of preventing aggression and were replaced by the United Nations. As a result of this the aggression became worse impacting on the country.
