The German- Soviet Non-Aggression Pact was an agreement made (August 23, 1939) just before world war 2 broke out which was signed by enemies, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union saying that they wouldn’t take military action against each other for the next 10 years. This non-aggression pact surprised many people as these two countries were enemies. The agreement had a secret section to it which stated that the Soviets and the Germans would later on invade and divide Eastern Europe. Of course, the German- Soviet Non-Aggression Pact didn’t last the whole 10 years as in 1941 the Nazi’s invaded the Soviet Union.
