Truman announced that the US would provide aid to South Korea and the UN unanimously agreed to help restore peace and security to all of Korea. They demanded that North Korea stop the invasion at the 38th Parallel. (Vote was unanimous bc Soviets were boycotting UN and had not been there to vote)
