After three years of fighting, the Korean war had finally ended. Both sides involved signed a cease-fire and the war ended in a stalemate. There was no victory for either side in this war. The UN did not get to remove communism in North Korea and the Soviets could not spread it into South Korea. Both Korea's remained divided and neither side achieved what they had wished to.
