To pass time, I watch various shows on Netflix Canada. My favourite that I watch daily is the famous TV show, Friends. Netflix is a company which offers its subscription worldwide. This is possible because of globalization's impact on society, it exposes people to a variety of foreign cultures. Netflix being a global company allows for the introduction of foreign films/movies into other countries and in different languages, such as Arabic and Hindu. The influence of these foreign series allow for a diversification of media in Canada, however, it can slowly strip Canada of its national identity.
