In the morning, I usually put on makeup. Many products I use are from the product line L’Oreal. L’Oreal was founded in France with a registered office in Paris. It is currently the largest cosmetics multinational company in the world. L’Oreal mainly manufactures most of its products in Indonesia, like most major brands, for cheaper labour. They have a total of 43 L’Oreal factories worldwide, with 70% of its products will be distributed to all other countries in the South-East Asian region. A single L’Oreal’s manufacturing plant has the potential to produce over 500 million units per year. Western beauty trends have started to pick up on the French beauty regimen and has since then been popularized such as Vichy, Nuxe, Biotherm, and more. Thus, the globalization factors impacted are cultural, from the spread of French beauty products and economic as a large company has been taking advantage of cheap labour.
