Conrad (1999) states, "The land he purchased became the basis of the present day Campbell Estate" (p. 378). He married a Hawaiian, Abigail Maipinepine, and he died in 1900. Campbell's descendants are from the families Kawananakoa, Shingle, Beckley and MacFarlane.
