A system used to send speech or data over distances using a device called a telephone that functions as the transmitter and receiver.

Telephones are very much used even up to these days. We were exposed and have seen the transformation of the telephone from the pictures seen online to what we have been recently using. Before, there were different types of telephones but we were much exposed to telephones wherein we directly type the number and directly wait for the receiver to answer the call.
