The Molotov Plan was a system created by the Soviet Union in 1947 in order to rebuild Eastern European countries that were politically and economically aligned with the Soviet Union. This plan is considered the Soviet version of the Marshall plan, which was indeed rejected by Molotov, who proposed his own plan instead. This counter-plan increased tensions.
