After becoming a monk and studying Catholicism more thoroughly, Luther found more flaws and faults in the religion; one of these being the sale of indulgences, something Luther found corruptible. In his frustration, Luther posted a list composed of 95 critiques of the Catholic Church. This was the first movement in the Protestant Reformation, which led others to rebel against the Church.
