The Board of Trustees votes to oppose HB2531 a bill to eliminate due process for faculty in Kansas. Dr. Valdenia Winn, Professor of History, and Democratic Party member of the Kansas House of Representatives serving the 34 District since 2001, was Co-Chair of the Kansas House Education Committee that led the charge to defeat the anti-education bill.
