After the Assassination, Austria-Hungary blamed Serbia for the incident but Serbia tries to distance itself from it saying that they warned Austria-Hungary about a plot. Conrad von Hötzendorf (Austria's chief of military staff) wanted a war though the foreign secretary was against the idea as they were afraid that they would anger Serbia's ally- Russia.
