17 Mai 1954 Jahr - Brown v.s. Board of Education
Beschreibung:
The rise in segregation around the country, especially in the southern state, made the opportunities for blacks harder to have an equal chance compared to white people. Many public schools chose to have their schools segregated based on race and people thought that the opportunity for an equal education violated the 14th Amendment. The court ruled that separating kids on race in a public school violates the 14th Amendment and therefore forcing states to allow and equal chance to all.
