~ch 37- 40 happens in one day. ch 40-48
happens the next with team STRQ heading to
Mountain Glenn at night.

STRQ is assigned to Ozpin to going to a source of nearby baiting sites. Along the way Qrow reveals to Ozpin that Raven and him were slaves by showing his brand. Ozpin inreturn also reveals that he was a slave by baring his own brand. Reaching their destination which was a cave system that connected to a larger system that spread out under the land and all the way to Mt. Glenn.

At a Gully before the cave entrance, STRQ & Ozpin have an encounter with Unseelie, who show evidence/signs of human intelligence. During the encounter Raven unlocks her semblance.

After enter the cave and passing a few Deathstulkers, the group makes it to the slavers hideout. Upon entering they find the slavers dead. The group splits up to look for captives and/or survivors. Raven is sent into a panic attack upon finding a room with a single stained mattress and a cage the size of a large dog kennel with a set of manacles hang in the cage for the height of a child. Summer was later able to calm her down and they set up camp for the night. During said night Raven has a conversation with Ozpin about the Grimm.

The next day they find a body with a data stick on it. On it the find names, dates, and locations of everyone they sold and brought from with a Company named Melot Industries being a frequent buyer. The data stick also had the locations where slavers had set up baiting sites for the company.

After leaving the body Ozpin gets a message from Arc Tell him that every able hunter is to be sent to Mt. Glenn, including students. The group decides to go through the caves to find an exit closer to Mt. Glenn. They come across a tunnel that caved in with no way around it. An Unseelie showed up and led them to a cliff overlooking ruin Melot Industries building before disappearing. in front of the build were hundreds of grimm and rows of open cages.

Using Ozpin's & Raven's semblance they were able to get to the building. Ozpin render unconscious do to the effect of Raven's Semblance on him. On the roof Raven finds a gigantic, grinning cat grimm who leaps to the ground before everyone else arrived. once inside they fight an escaped grimm experiment while giving Ozpin epinephrine to wake him up. Heading down the building through an elevator shaft, they made to a sub-basement laboratory.

They discover security videos showing a lady and the cat grimm releasing grimm and killing the staff. After finish the video and collect what they could, they started searching for a way out of the laboratory. upon finding stairs they made their way down into another cavern with an observation window embedded nearby. In the center of the cabain as a pool of iker/ grimm pool with the woman from the videos staring into it. next to was the cat grimm.

A steel wall comes down from the ceiling separating Summer & Raven from everyone else. The cat grimm moves despite Ozpin's semblance and begans to talk, calling himself Set. A fight ensues between Set, Raven, and Summer. Raven was unable to use her semblance before finding a chance to use it for Tai & Qrow to jump through. This causes the woman to join the fight. Raven tries diplomacy with the lady, Arcene, Raven discovering that she has ties to Nwyfre and that the grimm are angry spirits of the dead.

Oz appears and seems to know Set as well as Set knows about Ozpin's many lives. Set changes form and attacks Ozpin. With Arcene's help Set was able to grab Summer and activate her silver eyes causing everyone to lose conscious. When they wake up Set & Arcene are gone. Ozpin explains the maidens & magic to everyone, finding out that Arcene is the Winter maiden. While Nwyfre knocks out Arcene in the gates operation room. On the roof Nwyfre summon/creates a Nevermore using her soul and blood. Nwyfre opens a gate to the afterlife and corless the grimm into it before flying into it herself & Arcene.

When STRQ and Ozpin leave the building but continue on to Mt. Glenn through the now open tunnel. They made out of the tunnel and greeted by night.
