Sentries patrolling the Bulgarian-Greek border fired upon one another and a Greek soldier was killed. So the Greek army invaded Bulgaria. The Bulgarians asked the league for help and told their soldiers not to fight back. The League told Greece to pay a fine and leave Bulgaria. Greece had been in the position of Bulgaria in Corfu and was still blamed so this showed the League's double standards.
