In Canada and more specifically Alberta among the native american population there is a massive issue of rampant drug abuse leading to death by overdosing. Along with the overdoses there is also the issue of used needles being found in public places potentially causing harm to random stranger who might step on one and contract a std. although there has been steps to correct this it isnt enough at the moment.
