John Maynard Keynes created a new economic plan to find a way out of the depression. He studied it and figured out that for them to get out of it they would need to adopt mixed economics. Keynes saw no end in sight and decided that governments would need to inject cash into the economy in times of "bust", even if they would have to take a loan out in order to.
