This was one of my favorite vacations I ever took. My mom secretly packed my siblings bags and said we were going to go to the movies. So we obliged. Little did we know that we were gonna leave the state and end up 1000 miles north of our location. I slept on the way to the "movies" and to my surprise, we were getting out of the car ready to swim in Oklahoma. I don't remember much of Oklahoma as we only stayed there for a day but I remember that I almost drowned. the only thing that saved me was another swimmer around my age now that I latched on to. He didn't seem to mind that much as all he did was look back at me. I remember on the way to Chicago, it took us so long to get through Kansas. There was absolutely nothing there. we had to rent a motel halfway through because of my parents' fatigue. But it was all worth it as once we got to Chicago, our parents shared memories of living there. My mom lived there for a little over a decade but my dad, about 30 years. We went to the zoo, aquarium, and many other places. But nothing topped the view at the top of the Sears Tower, or Willis Tower now.
