Microsoft Press ConferenceCirca May 17-19, IGN wiki:
"XBox was coming later that year to the US, then to Japan, and finally to Europe. The much-hyped Halo was shown again, this time running on XBox development hardware and notably looking much different than its PC debut one year ago."
"Microsoft had an embarrassing time at E3. Hardware problems during public demonstrations marred the console’s coming out party. The company’s gaming technology and PR expertise were both in their infancy, and it showed. But the launch lineup of games looked good, and Microsoft left the show with some momentum, much of it centered around the XBox’s graphical power and the continued buzz around Halo."
