The boxer rebellion started when The empress imprisoned the emperor for wanting to make China and trade with the other nations. He empress wants to stay traditional and the boxer rebellion group arises. The empress secretly supports them and they start to kill Chinese Christians and the Foreigners for being in China. The Foreign influences fight back by bringing troops to Beijing and fought the boxers. The Boxers were defeated and China had to give up more land, are forced to trade more, and pay for all the damage done to the Foreign influences people.
