Emmitt Till is an African american from Chicago who was visiting family in Mississippi. 4 days after arriving, he was brutally kidnapped and murdered for flirting with a white girl. His two murderers, Bryant and Milam, were acquitted of all charges. His death sparked the start of the Civil Rights Movement
