In the early hours on December 1st, a small and widely-popular group of senators from the Council of Africa (the UAR's legislative body), performed a coup against President Kamau. The group quickly became recognized as the legitimate government by the other countries of Earth (who disliked Kamau). Shortly after, the group began the groundwork for reforming the UAR and establishing the African Federation.
