Mars has 2 moons,and is considered a terrestrial planet. It takes Mars 24 hours to complete a period of rotation, and about 687 earth days to complete a period of revolution.
Mars temperature ranges from -153 to 20 C. Mars and Earth have approximately the same land mass. Only 18 missions to Mars have been successful. Mars has the largest dust storms in the solar system. Pieces of Mars are said to have fallen to earth.
