Francisco Pizarro led a group of Conquistadors on a Spanish expedition into Peru where they discovered the Inca Empire. They arrived to find the Inca rulers in a dispute and seized the opportunity. They swiftly killed the rulers of the Inca and continued their quest for gold while gaining control of the Inca Empire. (4.3)
