Heroin is synthesized from morphine first done so by Bayer & Company the world largest pharmaceutical powerhouse in 1898 and was marked as non addictive cough suppressant but after the first few years it became clear that heroin was highly addictive and was banned in the U.S and in 1970 was made a schedule 1 drug. Heroin give you short lived euphotic rush followed by a state of tranquility and causes respiratory failure when you overdose and can kill with its withdrawal.
