Unlike other children, I was incredibly excited for my first day or school, and not a single tear was shed. Although I didn't go to preschool, I parted ways with my mother and excitedly met my homeroom teacher. The most significant thing I remember that day was coloring in a picture of a dog: dark brown ears, dark brown spots, light brown body, and a bright red collar. At that point, I knew how to correctly write my name and color inside the lines.
