Cass is exhausted and spends several days in bed. She only wakes intermittently to notice Frankie dropping off food and Helia coming and going. After third day, she is recharged.

At this time Helia is trying to forget what happened to Ilya. She goes out into the Compound and makes friends, joins Fight Club. She builds resentment towards Cass that she doesn't know what to do with.
