This amendment ultimately granted women the right to vote, granting suffrage after almost a century of protests. Seneca Falls was a huge event leading to this led by Cady Stanton to demand the right to vote. Activist like Mott, Stanton, and Susan B. Anthony hugely influenced the awareness and fiercely fought for this right.
