Ronald Reagan served two terms as president, and both of his election ended in an electoral landslide. He overhauled the American economic system by introducing an idea called Reaganomics. Business was deregulated, taxes were decreased and inflation was controlled all in order to support business. He over saw one of the largest periods of growth and economic prosperity in America and helped the country recover from the devastating inflation under Jimmy Carter. He also had numerous foreign policy successes with Russia and bringing down the Berlin Wall. His presidency was extremely important and helpful for business interests across America and he is hailed as one of the greatest conservative presidents of all time.
