1 Jan 1972 Jahr - Canada Ban Cigarette Advertisements
Beschreibung:
On January 1, 1971, Canada's ban on cigarette advertisements on film, radio, and television goes into effect. These smoking bans were made in attempt to protect people from the effects of secondhand smoke and first hand smoke. Symptoms include an increased risk of heart disease, cancer, emphysema, and other diseases. This was one of the first steps taken to decrease the effects of smoking and end it once and for all in Canada.
