A meeting between general secretary of the Communist Party of China and paramount leader of the People's Republic of China and Ma Ying-jeou president of the Republic of China in Singapore.

The leaders of the two sides met for the first time since the civil war between the CCP and the KMT.

The event was a result of the Ma government's rapprochement efforts with Beijing.
