1 Dez 1913 Jahr - Ford's Assembly Line

Beschreibung:

Henry Ford was a businessman, who in 1903 made his own car company, named "Ford Motor Company". At the time, cars were not super popular, as they were still a fairly recent concept, with the first gasoline car being made in 1879 in Germany, Americans were not aware of what was soon going to happen to the American automobile industry. In 1908, Henry Ford began to produce the Model T. Ford had produced cars before the Model T, the first being the Model A in 1903. But the Ford Model T was about to become one of the most important innovations of our time. It was the first relatively inexpensive car in the American automobile industry, and it was not of poor quality. Soon, thousands of people were purchasing his automobile, but with popularity, comes demand, and Ford thought of a quicker way to get products rolled out to meet demands. Ford thought of the use of an assembly line. Which allowed workers to do one part of a job, and then pass it on to the other worker, who then passes it on to the other worker. The workers could be switched out if they got too tired, but it made it that every worker plays a specific part, instead of everyone doing the same thing. Ford mastered this technique and it allowed him to quickly produce products. This new idea changed the way that companies worked all across America, and allowed goods to be sold quicker and more demands to be met.
