6 Jun 1454 Jahr - Treaty of Lodi
Beschreibung:
was a peace agreement in which northern Italian city-states Florence, Milan, and Venice organized an alliance against the Papal States in central Italy and the Kingdom of Naples in southern Italy.
This treaty came in the midst of a time in which Italian politics were somewhat unstable and tumultuous; city-states fought for supremacy in Italy while trying to maintain stability in their own region. Condottiere, mercenary generals, such as Gattamelata and Bartolommeo Colleoni, worked to gain control over a number of Italian city-states.
