With the 101st Airborne Division in Little Rock Arkansas, the nine students would finally enter the school and attend their classes with the nine students. Melba and the others would see the rage and disgust of the white students as they are being shouted at and in many cases attacked just for being integrated into the school. Later days come by and Melba gives her trust to Danny, one of the Screaming Eagles, to guard her life from the white students.
